Absolutely brutal service, terrible and beyond shameful. I overheard 2 princesses taking about how they hate their job and would call in sick if they didn't need the money. Unbelievable!!! I'm sitting right here you morons!! Maybe you should have gone to college instead of being in a customer service related industry. They careered hand and foot to all their friends under the age of 25, the sane morons that don't tip!! If I didn't stand up and wave my hands I would have waited a half hour for a fresh beer. The manager of this establishment should be ashamed of themselves. Terrible terrible terrible, never ever will return.

Avoid this East Side. Nowhere near the quality of service that is usual for East Side. We called and made a reservation for 14 people 2 weeks ahead of time and requested we sit at one table. They set us up at separate tables back to back. We had 4 children with our party and had to request children's menus as they forgot and one was so worn out you could not read. We placed our food orders and half the group got their meals and other half got their meals after the first half had completely finished. Ordered chicken fingers for one of the kids and it came out a very dark brown not burnt just brown...it looked disgusting and we sent back and order pasta instead. Requested drinks and (just a pop and water) the server forgot 4 or 5 times. We were there celebrating a birthday and they came and sang the song and gave the dessert to the person before the second half of people even had their food . Server said sorry a couple times and we were given two free desserts but not worth it. Managers never once came to our table to see how we were doing. Avoid this East Side. It gives the entire chain a bad name.

Worst lunch I've had in the past 20 years! Ordered the veal sandwich and first surprise was when they brought over a sandwich half the size I expected. Then I took a bite - but I couldn't because there was a very hard slab of something inside. When I opened it up there was this rock hard fried up piece of something masquerading as the veal. When I picked it up and banged it against the plate, it sounded like a rock. My lunch partner laughed out loud in disbelief. When we called the waitress over (her service was excellent by the way, poor woman!) she explained that they deep fried the veal. DEEP FRIED. There was little enough to cook as it was, and deep frying ruined what little there was of it. And they call this the Magnificent Veal Sammy! There is nothing magnificent about it except for my shock at someone having the nerve to serve this to a person and expect them to eat it. It's been a long time since I've eaten at East Side Mario's and it will be much longer before I go back. A waste of my time and money - and what was supposed to be a nice get together lunch with a good friend whom I hadn't seen in a while.

  • Service overall was good. Server was excellent but had too many tables to cover. Bread took forever to come out. There seemed to never be any available.

I wish I could give this location fewer stars. Went here for lunch and food came out completely burned but served cold. Pasta had no sauce on it, and the Caesar salad came with no dressing and left a rotten aftertaste in my mouth. The waitress acted like she had no idea that serving burned food or pasta without sauce on it wasn't okay. After how long it took to get us our food compared to how dead and empty the place was I thought we'd get good food. We didn't. Will never eat again at this location.
